George.M.Hunter first landed in France 17-7-1915 serving as a corporal with the Loyal North Lancashire Regiment. He went on to be commissioned in to the 16th service battalion of the Manchester regiment / Manchester pals & when he applied for the issue of his campaign medals in 1925 he was living at 47 Northfield avenue, Blackpool, Lancashire.
