George.L.Keys served in France with the 13th Siege battery of the Royal Garrison Artillery & was a resident of Rochester, Kent. In the inter-war years he was an assistant in the town clerks office & a long serving member of the local Territorial unit of the Royal Artillery (166th City of Rochester H.A.A.bty) He left the TA in 1938 but served with the Home Guard rocket battery for the duration of WW2.
