Arhur.F.Shelton first landed in France 26-8-1914 serving with the 19th infantry brigade supply column of the A.S.C. He was M.I.D for services in France in the London gazette 22-6-1915 & went onto be awarded the immediate meritorious service medal in the London gazette 17-6-1918. This was for services with the 406th company A.S.C whilst attached to B siege park company. He was awarded his LS&GC in army order206 dated 17-1-1929 & went on to be commissioned in to the R.A.S.C. He was awarded both the 1935 silver Jubilee medal & the 1937 Coronation medal as a R.A.S.C officer.
NEF & mounted as worn. Complete with MIC details, London gazette details, Army order details & other basic information. Both of the royal commemorative medals have been privately engraved to the recipient as an officer in the R.A.S.C
