John.G.Sutherland was born in Sunderland 9-7-1885 & first landed in France 16-8-1914 serving with the 6th Dragoon Guards. He was discharged 28-4-1919 & re-enlisted in to the 1st Royal Dragoons on the same day. He was awarded his LS&GC in army order 388 of 1924 & died 9-11-1961 in Canterbury.
