Hugh Blue from Limerick was a 20 year old clerk when he enlisted in to the 131st South Irish Horse Company of the 29th battalion Imperial Yeomanry in Dublin 11-1-1902. He served in South Africa from 11-5-1902 through to 7-1-1903 when he returned to the UK and took his discharge seven days later.
