GVIR WW2 Civil British Empire Medal on a ladies Bow ribbon To- CHARLOTTE.MRS.BROOKSBANK.
The recipient was awarded her medal in the London gazette 15-6-1945 for her services as the forewoman at Jos May & Sons ltd of Leeds. During WW2 this tailoring business was seconded on to to government war work & produced military uniforms.
