Richard Oldfield was born in Terrington, Norfolk & enlisted in Wisbech. He was killed in action in France & Flanders 2-6-1916 serving with the 11th battalion of the Suffolk Regiment & was one of two men of the two men of the battalion to be killed on this day.
He is buried in Becourt military cemetery.
