Joseph Farnworth first landed on Gallipoli / The Balkans 17-7-1915 serving with the 1st battalion of the Border Regiment. He was sadly killed in action on Gallipoli 21-8-1915 & having no known grave he is commemorated on the Helles Memorial. He was born in Bolton, Lancs & lived in Salford, Lancs. Whilst enlisting in Hindley, Lancs
