William George was born 2-7-1883 & served in the ranks from 1901 to 1925. He first landed in France
15-8-1914 serving with the 3rd General hospital. He was appointed Warrant officer in 1915 & awarded his LS&GC in army order 110 of 1920. He was commissioned Lieutenant & Quartermaster 20-11-25 & finished his service as a Major & QM 2-7-1938. He was recalled for service in WW2 & served in the UK 1939-1945. He passed away 2-3-1947.
