GVR 1st type WW1 Military Medal (MM)

John Black first landed in France 9-7-1915 serving with the 9th battalion of the Gordon Highlanders & was awarded the MM for services in France in the London gazette 14-9-1916 serving with the same battalion. He survived the war and was discharged to the class Z army reserve 4-2-1919.
