Mint boxed 1939-45 Star, Atlantic Star, Italy Star, 1939-45 War Medal with M.I.D Oakleaf & GVIR 1st type Royal Fleet Reserve long service medal To-J.100529(CH.B23572).F.J.D.CAPELING.TEL.RFR.
Frank John Dunk Capeling was born in Deal, Kent 26-4-1905 & enlisted in to the Royal Navy in 1929. He transferred to the R.F.R in 1935 & was recalled for service on the outbreak of WW2 in 1939. He was M.I.D in London gazette 14-6-1945 & when he applied for the issue of his WW2 campaign medals he was living in London.
