Thomas Davies was born in Barry, Glamorgan 4-2-1915 & lived at Cadoxton. He served with the Welsh regiment in Palestine during the Arab revolt of 1936-39 & was serving with the 1st battalion when he was captured on Crete 2-6-1941 & went on to be held as a prisoner of war at camps in Czechoslovakia & Germany.
