Edward Flatt Cole from Great Limber, Lincolnshire first landed in theatre of war 2B Gallipoli / The Balkans 18-7-1915 serving with the 6th service battalion of the Lincolnshire Regiment. He was sadly listed as missing & presumed dead on Gallipoli 9-8-1915 and was later confirmed to have been killed in action. He has no known grave but is commemorated on the Helles memorial on Gallipoli. & is pictured on the memorial in St Peters Church, Great Limber.
