John Proctor was born in Preston, Lancashire 1895 & enlisted in to the C.E.F in January 1915. He arrived in France in March of 1916 & was sadly killed in action in France & Flanders 10-10-1918 serving with B-Company of the 19th Canadian Infantry (Central Ontario Regiment) during the attack on Naves. He is buried in St.Aubert British cemetery & is recorded by the CWGC as the late son of John & Sarah Proctor of Preston.
