Duncan Hamilton first landed in France 21-9-1914 serving with the 2nd battalion of the Highland Light Infantry. He was sadly killed in action in France & Flanders 16-5-1915 & was both born & enlisted in Edinburgh.He has no known grave but is commemorated on the Le Touret memorial.
