Harry Cliff was born & enlisted in Cleckheaton & was serving with the 1/4th battalion of the West Riding Regiment when he was sadly killed in action in France & Flanders 31-9-1916 at Schwaben redoubt. He had previously been wounded with the battalion 31-7-16 & is buried in Mill Road cemetery, France.
