James Adam’s was born in Lambeth, London 29-7-1878 & enlisted in to the Royal Navy 29-7-1896. He served onboard HMS St George during the Benin operations 1897. He continued to serve in the Royal Navy until he sadly passed away at the Royal Naval hospital at Haslar 30-9-1915 & is buried under a CWGC headstone in Haslar Royal Naval cemetery.
