WW1 Pair & Memorial Plaque

Charles Machin was born in Govan, Glasgow, Lanarkshire & enlisted in Glasgow. He first served overseas with the Cameron Highlanders but went on to be transferred to the Tank Corps with service number 304895. He was killed in action in France & Flanders 9-8-1918 & was serving with the 15th battalion of the Tank Corps at the time of his death. He has no known grave but is commemorated on the Vis-En-Artois memorial. A scarce confirmed Tank Corps casualty group.
Medals NEF, Plaque very lightly cleaned with a small pin hole to the top. Complete with MIC details. Along with details from both SDGW & the CWGC.
This group was last on the open market in 2007 when it was sold by the late Phillip Burman for £475
