Charles Howard Agg was born in Monmouth & enlisted in Bulford. He was a member of the territorial force and after arriving in France he was renumbered as 881451. He sadly died of Wounds 22-3-1918 serving with Y 19th trench mortar battery of the Royal Field Artillery & left a widow living in Swansea. His death occurred on the 2nd day of the March offensive & it is highly likely that he was probably wounded on the first day? he has no known grave & as such he is commemorated on the Arras memorial.
