Walter Clark from Seaton Delaval, Northumberland enlisted in to the 10th service battalion of the Northumberland Fusiliers 26-10-1914 and first landed in France 25-8-1915. The war office casualty listed dated 4-9-1916 stated that he had been wounded with a gun shot wound to the back & he was discharged with a silver war badge 23-10-1917 age 32. Sadly the recipients silver war badge is missing from the group. However the issue certificate is present & in truth the certificate is much harder to find than the actual badge.
