Thomas Edwards first landed in France 4-11-1914 & was sadly killed in action on the first day of the battle of the Somme 1-7-1916. He was born in Hornsey & enlisted in London whilst living in Bromley. He has no known grave but is commemorated on the Thiepval Memorial to the missing of the Somme.
Sadly the recipients 1914 star is missing from the group.
