Herbert Percy Maxwell was commissioned in to the Eat Yorkshire Regiment in 1917 & seconded to serve with the Kings African Rifles. He left the army at the wars end & went to to work as a surveyor with the Air Ministry. He died in 1966 whilst living in Hertfordshire.
