Keith Farrar from Earlsheaton, Dewsbury enlisted in to the Duke of Wellingtons West Riding Regiment at Leeds 21-3-1952 and was wounded serving with the regiment during the battle of the Hook in May 1953. He took his discharge in March 1955 but re-enlisted in to the Royal Engineers in July of 1960. He served in Borneo during the conflict and did five tours of Northern Ireland between 1970 & 1976. He was discharged in July 1979 and died in 2005.
The group is court mounted as worn & is GVF or better. It comes complete with the recipients red service book that confirms all medals & clasps. Along with other related military documents, casualty roll details, newspaper obituary details. Dog tags & other biographical details.
