3059034.C-Sgt.I.Thompson was M.I.D in the London gazette 19-7-1945 for gallant & distinguished services in Italy, (page 3730).
Ian Douglas Thompson from Edinburgh applied for the issue of his campaign medals in 1948 whilst living at 17 Marionville road, Edinburgh.7
The certificate is clean & tidy but has once been folded in to quarters.
