Albert.E.Blackmore from Eastville, Bristol was a long serving member of the Territorial Force and was awarded his efficiency medal in army order 335 dated 1-10-1913. He served with the same unit in WW1 and is recorded on the casualty list as having been wounded 6-7-1918. He was attached to the Gloucester Regiment and was later issued with the post 1922 service number 5175972.
