Frederick Henry Marsh was born in Wimborne, Dorset 16-11-1895 and enlisted in to the Royal Navy as a boy in 1913. During WW1 he served onboard or at HMS Vernon, HMS attentive, HMS Dolphin, HMS Fearless, HMS Royal Arthur & HMS Gibraltar. He was awarded his LS&GC in 1928 & discharged to a pension in 1935.
