George Wright enlisted in to the Lothian & Border Horse 3-2-1913 and first landed in France with the regiment 28-9-1915. He is recorded on the war office casualty list as having been wounded 16-8-1916 and it goes on to state that he was a resident of Edinburgh. He was discharged with a silver war badge due to wounds 1-2-1917.
Sadly the recipients 1914-15 star is missing from the group.
