Alfred Scott was born, enlisted & lived in Birmingham. He was sadly killed in action in France & Flanders 22-8-1916 serving with the 14th service battalion of the Gloucestershire Regiment / The West of England Bantam battalion. He has no known grave but is commemorated on the Thiepval memorial.
