Michael Alexander enlisted in to the 6th Scottish Rifles at Lanark & first landed in France 5-12-1915. He was issued with the later six figure TF service number 241499 and sadly went on to be killed in action in France & Flanders 22-2-1917. He has no known grave but is commemorated on the Thiepval memorial.
