John Reekie from Fife first landed on Gallipoli 31-8-1915 serving with the 1/3rd Scottish Horse with service number 822. He was commissioned in to the Indian Army Reserve of Officers 18-12-1916 and was stationed in India when applied for the issue of his campaign medals in 1922.
