John Moss from Heanor, Derbyshire enlisted 11-1-1898 and stated that he was a wagon builder by trade. He first landed in South Africa 18-3-1901 & sadly died of disease at Howick, Natal 1-3-1901 whilst serving with the 2nd battalion.
