Albert Edward Clark was born in London, Enlisted in Westminster & lived in Wanstead. He first landed in France 19-2-1916 serving with the 1/16th battalion of the London regiment / Queens Westminster Rifles. He was awarded the MM for services in France in the London gazette 27-10-1916 and went on to be issued with the new six figure TF service number 550518. He was sadly killed in action in France & Flanders 28-3-1918 and having no known grave he is commemorated on the Arras memorial.
