Mint boxed WW2 Defence & War Medals

Archibald Machpherson was born on the Isle of Skye 12-5-1903 and was called up under the national service act in 1939 but did not start his service until 1941. All of his service was at UK shore bases, HMS Ganges, Pembroke, Highflyer, Lanka, Hawkins & others but he was involved in the salvage of the SS.City of Marseilles & was awarded two pounds, ten shillings & ten pence in salvage money. He was discharged to the class A reserve in 1945 & went on to reside in Glasgow.
Mint boxed medals with issue slip, service papers, call up card, telegrams, meal card, hut card, ID card, NI card & other related documents.
