Robert Henry Salveson from South Harrow, Middlesex. Enlisted in to the Royal Field Artillery in to the 177th (Fulham) Brigade R.F.A in July 1915 & first landed in France 18-2-1916. He was wounded in August 1917 & severely gassed during the spring offensive of 1918. He was awarded the MM for services in France in the London gazette 9-12-1916 & was finally discharged to the class Z army reserve in June 1919. The unit war diary states that his M was awarded for services at Kemmel in October 1916.
