Charles Guest from Bromsgrove enlisted in to the Worcester regiment 5-8-1914 and first landed overseas in France 31-3-1915. He was wounded in France & this is recorded on the war office casualty list dated 17-10-1916. He transferred to serve in the Italian theatre and was awarded the MM for services in Italy in the London gazette 24-1-1919 whilst serving with the 8th battalion. He was wounded again whilst serving in Italy which was recorded on the war office casualty list dated 18-11-1918 & was discharged with a silver war badge due to wounds 15-2-1919 age 22. his pension card states that this was due to a gun shot wound to the left forearm & gas poisoning.
