Thomas Frank was both born & enlisted in Pickering, North Yorkshire. He first landed in France 5-10-1914 serving with the 2nd battalion of the Yorkshire Regiment & is entitled to the 1914 star trio. He was sadly killed in action in France & Flanders 1-7-1916 on the first day of the battle of the Somme age 32 & is buried in Dantzig Alley British Cemetery at Mametz. The CWGC state that he was the Son of Thomas Frank, of Pickering, Yorks.
