Arthur Frank Lewington was a fitters mate from Wimbledon, London when he enlisted in to the East Surrey Regiment in 1919 & in 1927 spent 9 days in military custody & lost his seniority due to drunkenness . He was awarded the 1937 coronation medal & the LS&GC in 1937 & was discharged from the army under kings regulations 392 in November 1939.
