Edward Arthur Baker was born at Liversedge, Yorks & both lived & enlisted in Harrogate. He first landed in France 15-4-1915 serving with the 1/5th battalion & was sadly killed in action in France & Flanders 5-8-1915. He has no known grave but is commemorated on the Menin gate memorial at Ypres. He was 23 years of age at the time of his death & the CWGC state that he was the late son of Arthur.W & Emily.E Baker of 32 Otley road, Harrogate
The Medals are NEF with faint traces of old glue to the reverse having once been housed in a Frame. The Scroll is clean but yellow with age & is stuck down on to thick card. Again once having been housed in a frame. Complete with MIC details & Details from both SDGW & the CWGC
