2x WW1 pairs & Memorial Plaques to Brothers
1) 4009.PTE.C.TANNER.13-LOND.R
Charles Tanner was born in Warsaw, Russia and both enlisted & lived in Kensington. He was killed in action in Palestine 8-12-1917 serving with the 13th battalion of the London Regiment whilst serving under his new six figure service number 491360 & having no known grave he is commemorated on the Jerusalem memorial.
2) 5810.PTE.W.J.TANNER.2-LOND.R
Walter John Tanner was born in Fulham & both lived & enlisted in Kensington. He was killed in action in France & Flanders 16-6-1917 serving with the 2nd battalion of the London regiment under his new six figure service number 232680. He has no known grave but is commemorated on the Arras memorial.
Both groups are NEF/GVF & Come with original postcard photographs of the recipient in uniform. Along with MIC details, SDGW details & CWGC details.
