Frederick Clarke Butcher from Brighton was not a young man when he first landed in France 21-12-1914 serving with the 55th divisional train of the A.S.C. He was mentioned in despatches for services in France in the London gazette 24-12-1917 and awarded the Immediate MSM also for services in France in the peace gazette of 1919. He was awarded his volunteer long service medal in 1907 & his TFEM in 1919.
A truly superb combination to a very long service senior warrant officer / N.C.O who settled in London post WW1.
NEF & Complete with a copy photograph of the recipient in uniform, copy service papers, London gazette details, MIC & medal roll details.
