George Hames was born 1798 & enlisted in 1812. He served with Captain Henry Lanes F troop at Waterloo 1815. He married in Southampton in 1819 & stated that he was a bricklayer. He can last be found on the 1871 census return living in Portsea, Hampshire.
FAIR / FINE with heavy marks & pitting to the obverse & reverse & corrosion to the iron suspension ring. Complete with medal roll details & other basic research.
