Alexander Black Irvine from Glasgow first landed in France 10-5-1915 serving with the 5th battalion of the Cameron Highlanders. He was commissioned in to the Highland Light Infantry 22-11-1916 & applied for the issue of his campaign medals in 1921 whilst living in Glasgow.
