A very interesting mint boxed WW2 group
1939-45 Star, Air Crew Europe Star, Defence Medal & 1939-45 War Medal.

William Cooper Dewar served with the R.A.F from May of 1943 until November of 1944. He was then commissioned in to the Cameronians / Scottish Rifles with officers service number 354458. He left the service 25-9-1947 & applied for the issue of his campaign medals in 1948 whilst working as the station master at Auchenheath, Lanark.
A very unusual confirmed Air Crew Europe group to a British Army officer.
