William Regan was badly wounded and taken prisoner of war 8-5-1915 serving with the 1/3rd battalion of the Monmouth.Regiment. He was admitted to a German field hospital at Liege and died as a prisoner of war in hospital 22-5-1915. He is buried in Liege (Robermont) cemetery and was 22 years of age at the time of his death. He is recorded by the CWGC as the late son of Daniel Regan of 6 Nailsworth terrace, Cheltenham.
One of only 47 British casualties buried in this cemetery.
