Family group to two brothers from Blyth, Northumberland 1) 1914-15 Trio To- 10108.PTE.A.J.ELLIOTT.NORTH'D.FUS
Andrew James Elliott was born in Choppington & enlisted in Blyth. He first landed in France 9-9-1915 serving with the 10th service battalion of the Northumberland Fusiliers & was sadly killed in action in France & Flanders 14-7-1916 age 20. He has no known grave other than the Somme & as such he is commemorated on the Thiepval memorial.

Adam Sherlaw Elliott was a member of the 1/7th Territorial Force battalion of the Northumberland Fusiliers & had enlisted in Blyth. He arrived in France in 1916 & was later issued with the new six figure TF number 291705. He was sadly killed in action in France & Flanders 14-11-1916 age 19 and like his brother he has no known grave other than the Somme and he is also commemorated on the Thiepval memorial.
Both brothers are recorded by the CWGC as the late sons of Walter & Margaret Elliot of 32 Stanley Street, Blyth, Northumberland.
