George Bailey Turner was born at Hunslet, Leeds & enlisted in Wakefield whilst living at Rothwell Haigh. He was killed in action in France & Flanders 27-3-1918 serving with the 22nd service battalion of the Durham Light Infantry. He was 26 years of age at the time of his death & sadly has no known grave. He is commemorated on the Pozieres memorial & had originally enlisted in to the K.O.Y.L.I with service number 52260.
EF/MINT with the original box of issue & mint condition silk medal ribbons. Along with MIC details & details from both SDGW & the CWGC.
