Arthur Simpson originally served overseas as a SJT with the 2/4th battalion of the West Riding Regiment. He stayed on in service after WW1 With the Regular battalions & was awarded his LS&GC in army order 74 of 1930. He became a WO.CL.1 in the Nigeria Regiment 11-7-1932 & was commissioned in to the Royal Artillery on the outbreak of WW2. He was awarded his MSM in 1951.
GVF/NEF & Mounted as worn. Complete with the recipients original warrant as a WO.CL.1 in the Nigeria regiment. Along with copy MIC & army order details.
