To- Geoffrey Laughton
The recipient was the 19 year old son of Charles & Beatrice Laughton of Leeds & was educated at Leeds Grammar school. He was killed in action in France & Flanders serving with the 26th service battalion of the Northumberland Fusiliers / 3rd Tyneside Irish. He is buried in St Martin Calvaire British cemetery at St Martin Sur Cojeul.
