Reinhold Meitzen Adams was the son of William & Clara Louisa Cecilie Adams of Budleigh Salteron, Devon. He was educated at Kelly college, Tavistock & the RMC Sandhurst. Whilst at Kelly college he was captain of both the Rugby & Cricket teams. He served in Mesopotamia from August 1916 with the 51st Sikhs and was mortally wounded 22-4-1917 and died of his wounds later the same day. He was 31 years of age at the time of his death & is commemorated on the Basra memorial.
The medals are GVF or better & the scroll has been stuck down on to card to be mounted in a frame.
