Edward Warwell from Dover enlisted in to the Royal Artillery in 1849 age 20 & served overseas in the Crimea campaign for just over a year 1854-55. He left the army in 1870 when he was discharged with a pension. He was issued with his LS&GC 22-10-1870 as a pensioned serjeant.
The Crimea medal is FAIR TO FINE with contact wear to the rim that has obliterated the initial & first three letters of the recipients surname. The Turkish Crimea is GVF & unnamed as issued. Whilst the LS&GC is NEF.
